The Verdict

Friday closed the week the way Thursday promised: the S&P 500 fell 0.52% to 7,623.68, the Dow fell 1.23%, breadth in our 900-name universe flipped to 258 advancers against 640 decliners, and only three of eleven sectors rose. But the three that rose tell the session: energy +2.60% on Brent's highest settle since April, technology +0.49% on a cybersecurity melt-up, and real estate +0.12%. Monday's own tape is mixed, not green: Asia closed lower where it matters (the Nikkei fell 0.80% to 62,189.65 and the KOSPI 1.46%), US futures pointed modestly higher through the morning, and oil is giving back about 2% on mediation reports. The AI Cycle Risk Meter sits at 60, Red, up 1, with CoreWeave at a fresh low and Anthropic's draft S-1 putting hard numbers on frontier-lab commitments. The desk reads this as a headline week bought one day at a time: today is the quiet day before the FOMC, Microsoft, Alphabet, PCE and Amazon stack, so entries are retests at printed levels, sized down, with earnings dates treated as part of the position, not a surprise inside it.

Desk Scenarios

The quiet day holds (the futures case). Chicago Fed and Dallas Fed print near consensus, the bill auctions and the 2-year note auction pass without a yield spike, and the S&P holds above 7,600 into the FOMC: Monday does what quiet days in a headline week are for, and the retest setups below fill at their zones rather than at the open.

Friday's breadth was the tell (the decliner case). Decliners led advancers 640 to 258 on Friday in our universe and the above-50-day share slipped to 52.22%: if Monday's green open fades and the S&P closes under 7,600, the week starts as distribution into the prints, and most long entries never trigger, which is the design working.

Oil or credit grabs the microphone. Brent back above Friday's $116.72 settle reopens the inflation leg (the 10-year at 5.00% is the warning light), or CoreWeave's credit makes another low on no news: either one turns a quiet Monday into position-checking, and the meter's Red stops being about the AI complex alone.

That is the whole data day, and the desk treats it that way: Monday's prints rarely move this tape, but the two auctions can, with the 10-year at 5.00% after Friday's close. The week's real calendar is stacked behind today: the FOMC convenes Tuesday and decides Wednesday at 2:00 PM ET, with a hold at 3.75% to 4.00% expected (94 of 100 economists in the Reuters poll carried in the Saturday Ledger), then Microsoft and Alphabet after Wednesday's close, Q3 GDP and September PCE on Thursday (core PCE 3.1% expected against 3.0% prior, same carried calendar), and the Employment Cost Index on Friday. About a third of the S&P 500 reports this week.

Earnings today: Verizon reported before the open (adjusted EPS $1.31 against $1.27 expected, revenue $34.3B up 1.5%, and full-year guidance raised for a third straight quarter: details in Earnings Minefield). Nucor, Cadence and Celestica report after the close.

Major News

Asia closed soft, oil handed some back. The Nikkei 225 closed Monday at 62,189.65, down 0.80%, a third straight decline and its lowest close since Jul 30, and the KOSPI fell 1.46% to 5,469.47, while the Hang Seng rose 0.51% to 23,211.81 (Monday finals, this morning's research). US futures pointed modestly higher through the morning: Dow futures +0.3% to +0.4%, S&P 500 futures +0.1% to +0.3% and Nasdaq-100 futures flat to +0.5% across timestamped prints (Investopedia, eOption and TradingKey, Oct 26). The other side of Friday's oil spike softened: Brent was $114.51, down 1.89%, and WTI $101.04, down 2.16%, at 04:26 GMT (Reuters, Oct 26), on Qatari mediators traveling to Tehran; some feeds print Brent near $110 on a different contract, flagged rather than blended. Friday's settles stand as the reference: Brent $116.72, up 3.14%, its highest since April, and WTI $103.27, up 3.80% (Reuters), on Houthi attacks on Saudi energy infrastructure and tanker attacks in the Strait of Hormuz.

Anthropic's draft S-1 is the weekend's hard number. The draft, reported Oct 20 by the Wall Street Journal and Reuters and carried in this morning's AI Trade Dashboard, shows first-half 2026 revenue of $16.3B, up from $1.1B a year earlier, against an $80.7B net loss of which about $72B was a non-cash convertible-financing charge, close to $9B of compute spend in the half, and long-term commitments reported at $450B to $750B. OpenAI in parallel trimmed its raise ask to a $1.25T pre-money valuation from $1.4T for up to $30B (TechCrunch and CNBC, Oct 22). The meter's frontier-lab component rose to 69 on exactly this: the economics are now in filed-style numbers, not valuation talk.

Friday's tape, in one paragraph. The Dow fell 652.82 points, 1.23%, to 52,215.16, the S&P 500 fell 0.52% to 7,623.68, the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.21% to 25,955.34 and the Russell 2000 fell 0.29% to 2,775.90 (Zacks and CNBC closing figures, Oct 26). Eight of eleven sectors fell; decliners beat advancers 1.72 to 1 on the NYSE (Zacks, Oct 26). The Dow's drop was the week's story in one index: Friday's selling was broad, not another AI-only session, even though the AI complex's leaders (energy and cybersecurity) were the day's two winning themes.

Cybersecurity had its melt-up on Friday. CrowdStrike rose 8.25% to $257.57, Palo Alto Networks rose 7.22% to $380.55, Cloudflare rose 7.29% and Zscaler rose 7.31% (Finnhub closes, Oct 23, via this morning's research). The catalysts carried in that research: an AI-found PHP vulnerability and the patching scramble across European government sites, an Evercore ISI reseller survey pointing to firmer security budgets, and a Deutsche Bank note that AI token usage benefits security names (TIKR, Oct 26; TradingKey, Oct 23). CRWD is today's #2 desk setup below, as a retest, not a chase of an 8% day.

The tower trade's second act. Crown Castle rose 9.06% on Friday's regular session to $85.97 (desk-computed from the scanner cache) after Bloomberg reported SpaceX in talks with Crown Castle for access to at least 80,000 cell sites to build a fourth nationwide wireless network (Morningstar and Dow Jones, Oct 23). The carriers paid for it: AT&T fell 7.96% to $20.93 and T-Mobile fell 7.71% to $146.54 (Motley Fool, Oct 23). For this page's ledger, Friday also settled Thursday's CCI setup: the retest zone never traded, and the name ran through its first target without us. It is booked as a no-fill in the Scoreboard, not a win.

France: affirmed, and the spread narrowed Monday. Moody's affirmed France at Aa3 with a negative outlook after Friday's close, against a consensus that had expected a cut to A1 (Le Monde and Reuters, Oct 24 to 26). The spread had closed Friday at 169 bp after printing a 15-year wide last week, and it narrowed to about 159 bp on Monday morning as the 10-year OAT yield eased to 4.988% (MarketWatch live, Oct 26); one desk note printed 178 bp on Monday, a conflicting print flagged rather than blended. The affirmation leans on a deficit-cutting 2027 budget being adopted, which is now a dated political test, and S&P reviews France on Nov 27.

Verizon opened the week's earnings with a beat and a raise. Before Monday's open Verizon printed adjusted EPS of $1.31 against $1.27 expected (FactSet), with GAAP EPS of $1.25, on revenue of $34.3B, up 1.5% and light against the $34.77B in the Dow Jones estimate set; adjusted EBITDA was a record $13.8B, free cash flow $7.8B, and postpaid phone net adds of 406,000 were the strongest third quarter in five years (company 8-K and Dow Jones reports, Oct 26). Verizon raised full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $5.04 to $5.06 from $4.99 to $5.04, its third consecutive raise, and signed a $2B-plus agreement with AWS to scale distributed computing for AI workloads. The stock had fallen 1.19% Friday to $44.66 in the telecom selling; a raise from the defensive end of the tape is the opposite signal from the one Friday's selling implied.

Musk warned the neoclouds, and the tape listened. Elon Musk posted Sunday that 200+ neoclouds face "guppy-level death and consolidation" and that SpaceX would not buy any of them; CoreWeave fell 4.5%, Nebius 3.4% and IREN 3.3% in Monday premarket trading (Reuters, Oct 26), with CoreWeave's 2033 bonds and Nebius's 2034 bonds at record lows in the same report. It lands on a complex whose credit already leads the equity: the dashboard's CoreWeave CDS print is 1,138 bp, and Morgan Stanley's Monday note says the name ended last week over 1,100 bp.

Thursday's rotation breadth did not survive contact with Friday's index selling, which is why this page's setups are retests and why the scanner's Friday sheet (below) is a pullback sheet again after Thursday's breakout menu. Put/call and full-market new-high/new-low counts had no dated verifiable source this morning and are omitted rather than estimated.

AI Cycle Risk Meter: 60 of 100, Red, as of the Oct 26 AI Trade Dashboard (8:40 AM ET), up 1 point from 59, so no flip: the move is under 3 and the regime is unchanged. Components: Frontier 69 (from 66, on Anthropic's draft S-1: $16.3B of first-half revenue against an $80.7B headline loss and $450B to $750B of commitments), Infrastructure 36 (from 34), Hyperscaler 56 (from 58, a slight easing only because Friday brought no fresh repricing), Credit 84 (from 82, on CoreWeave's fresh low at $54.24, its CDS at 1,138 bp and Nebius's new $3.5B one-year secured facility), Foreign 68 (flat; foreigners sold 994.1 billion won of KOSPI shares Friday, cumulative October selling about 18.41 trillion won). The week's test is dated: Microsoft and Alphabet print Wednesday after the FOMC, Amazon Thursday.

The Record

Desk ledger: no new desk resolution on Friday's bars beyond the Saturday Ledger's book: LLY (Oct 23 sheet) filled and stopped the same day, CVX's second target completed the week's wins, and CCI ran through its first target without a retest fill, booked as a no-fill. Five positions stay open (AAPL twice, CNQ, MU, KO), with KO the tightest at a $92.71 close against a $91.90 stop into its Tuesday print. V and MCK (Oct 20 sheet) expire today unfilled unless they dip into their zones. Scanner ledger: no new resolutions on Friday's bars: 30 resolved of 83 emitted (6 wins, 24 losses, all momentum pullbacks), 53 open including Friday's new 15. The pullback factor stays at 0.485, flagged.

SPDR returns as printed by Finnhub for the Oct 23 close (day against the Oct 22 close; 5-day and 1-month price returns from the same source, labeled as such). The week table cross-checks exactly against the Saturday Ledger's Finnhub week returns. Friday's shape is the rotation trade in one day: money paid 2.60% for energy exposure while oil spiked, paid up for security software inside a flat technology print, and sold eight sectors to do it. The month's leadership stays defensive and commodity-linked: energy +11.75%, utilities +7.72%, staples +7.56%, against technology -6.64% and communication -6.60%.

Today's Setups

Four conditional longs from this morning's 8:00 AM swing report, ranked as the swing desk ranked them. One honesty note, printed the way the swing delivery itself printed it: its run record preserved the four setups and their types, but not its exact entry, stop and target prices, so every level below is a desk level set off the Oct 23 close and labeled as such. Nothing here is presented as the swing sheet's own price. Two of the four carry earnings inside the holding window: LNG reports Thu Oct 29 before the open, and COP on Thu Nov 5. The Oct 15 to Oct 23 setups are carried in the Scoreboard.

LNG Cheniere Energy
#1 FLAT-BASE BREAKOUT
Entry $289.50 to $297.00   Stop $286.50   Targets $300.89 / $310.00 (desk levels)
Target $300.89
Stop $286.50
Last $298.67
Entry zone

The swing desk's cleanest structure, and Friday supplied the breakout bar: LNG rose 4.06% to $298.67 (Finnhub close; open $289.51, high $299.45, low $288.44, on Thursday's $287.01 close), three up days in a row into the top of its range, with the 52-week high at $300.89 (Mar 30) directly overhead. The fundamental tape agrees with the chart: QatarEnergy signed two 20-year-plus sale and purchase agreements on Oct 22 for 4 mtpa in total from Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi (Cheniere release via Business Wire), and BMO holds a Buy with a $306 target (Oct 21). The desk entry is Friday's breakout range, not Monday's open: zone $289.50 to $297.00, stop at $286.50 just under Thursday's close, first target the $300.89 high itself and a desk extension at $310 beyond it. The catch is dated in bold: Cheniere reports Thu Oct 29 before the open, company-confirmed (consensus EPS $4.22 on $5.41B revenue by MarketBeat, with a $4.06 EPS estimate at WallStreetZen: the conflict is printed, not averaged). Size it as an earnings-carrying position or be out before the print. Invalidation: close below $286.50

CRWD CrowdStrike
#2 BREAKOUT RETEST
Entry $243.00 to $250.00   Stop $234.50   Targets $276.39 / $286.99 (desk levels)
Target $276.39
Stop $234.50
Last $257.57
Entry zone

Friday's cybersecurity melt-up in one name: CRWD rose 8.25% to $257.57 on 13.37M shares, 1.6 times its 20-day average volume (desk-computed), closing above its 20-day average ($255.68) with RSI at 55.9, not extended. The swing desk's call is a retest, and after an 8% day the desk agrees twice over: the entry zone sits at $243.00 to $250.00, the shelf between Friday's $239.29 open area and the breakout close, the stop at $234.50 sits under Friday's $234.79 low and at the 50-day average ($234.80), and the targets are the printed shelves, the 10-session high at $276.39 and the 20-session high at $286.99. No earnings sits inside the near window: CrowdStrike's next print is unconfirmed in this desk's sources, with third-party calendars pointing to late November or early December, and it is printed that way rather than as a date. Invalidation: close below $234.50

COP ConocoPhillips
#3 BREAKOUT RETEST PULLBACK, SMALLER SIZE
Entry $145.50 to $148.50   Stop $143.50   Targets $152.77 / $158.00 (desk levels)
Target $152.77
Stop $143.50
Last $150.80
Entry zone

Energy is the market's leading group and COP is its large-cap expression: Friday rose 3.55% to $150.80 (desk-computed; high $152.77, a 10-session and 20-session high) as Brent settled at its highest since April, and the name also carries a company leg, an Oct 1 agreement to buy 1.0 mtpa of LNG from Venture Global for 20 years from 2030 (Venture Global, via this morning's research). What keeps this at #3 and at smaller size is one number: RSI 76.8. A breakout retest here means waiting for the pullback into $145.50 to $148.50, over Thursday's $145.63 close, not paying Friday's high; stop at $143.50, first target Friday's $152.77 high, second a desk extension at $158. The Street's recent work is supportive and correctly dated: Susquehanna raised its target to $175 from $161 (Positive) and Goldman Sachs to $157 from $146 (Buy), both on Oct 20, not this weekend. COP reports Thu Nov 5 (company calendar via this morning's research), inside a two-week hold: flagged, not hidden. Invalidation: close below $143.50

The swing desk's own label is higher risk, smaller size, and the numbers say why: MU closed Friday at $877.55, up 2.46%, but still $109 under its 20-day average ($986.70) with RSI at 38.2, a fallen leader bouncing off Thursday's $849.25 low, not a trend reasserting itself. Friday's bar is the bounce's first evidence (low $858.34, high $891.89, close near the top of the day's range). Desk levels: entry across Friday's range at $860.00 to $878.00, stop at $849.00 under Thursday's low, first target Friday's $891.89 high, second the $913.67 shelf from the prior week's closes. Ledger overlap, printed rather than merged: the Oct 21 sheet's MU position (stop $840) is still open at the same last price, and the two are scored as published, separately, exactly as the two open AAPL positions are. Micron's next earnings are expected in mid-December (Dec 16 to 17 in third-party calendars, unconfirmed by the company in this desk's sources), outside the window. Invalidation: close below $849.00

Today's Signals: The Scanner's Fifth Sheet

From the Friday, October 23 close: the scanner qualified 15 signals across its 900-name liquid universe (12 momentum pullbacks, 3 breakouts from range) and the top 10 print here, ranked by pattern factor times reward-to-risk, capped at 3 in the score. No padding: the cap is 10 and the sheet earned 15. Three honest flags. First, the menu flipped back: after Thursday's breakout-heavy sheet, Friday's down session (258 advancers against 640 decliners) produced a pullback sheet, because pullbacks are what a falling tape prints. Second, the ranking math, in the open: the flagged pullback factor (0.485) times a capped reward-to-risk of 3 scores 1.454, a hair above a breakout's 0.717 times 2.0 at 1.434, so the top two cards are high-R/R pullbacks (EQH, APG) and the three breakouts (CART, SIGI, REXR) follow; the factor gap is doing less work than the R/R gap, and the sheet prints the arithmetic so readers can see it. Third, two of today's pullbacks are re-entries in names the ledger already knows: EQH (#1) and CRBG (#6) both stopped out as pullbacks earlier in the ledger, and MSFT (#7) goes on the sheet two days before its earnings print, which the scanner does not know and the reader should.

Method, in the open: pattern factors start as the archive win rates (momentum pullback 55.6% from 1,185 resolved signals; breakout from range 71.7% from 46, the archive's best rate on its smallest sample; gap up and hold 62.4% from 101; cup and handle 56.1% from 41), held as Bayesian priors capped at 120 pseudo-signals. Each signal resolves win, loss or expired against its own printed stop and target within 10 sessions, first touch, stop checked first within a day; expired counts as no win. The learner's standing state, unchanged by Friday's bars: momentum pullback's live record is 6 wins in 30 resolutions (20.0%, expectancy -0.461R), its factor has fallen from 0.556 to 0.485, and the pattern is flagged for human review under the standing rule (posterior below 50% on 20 or more live resolutions). The flag is a review marker, not a removal: the pattern still prints, and today it prints at the top of the sheet on R/R, which is exactly why the arithmetic is shown. Breakouts, gaps and cups still have no live resolutions; 53 signals are open.

Analyst Actions

FIRM (DATED)TICKERACTION
Truist (Fri Oct 23)SOFITarget cut to $16 from $19, Hold maintained, on higher-rate headwinds for payments and fintech (Benzinga and Dow Jones via TradingView, Oct 23). SoFi reports this week: see Earnings Minefield for the date conflict this desk will not paper over
Monness Crespi & Hardt (Mon Oct 26)SOFIInitiated at Buy with a $20 target (Briefing.com via MarketBeat, Oct 26), against Friday's $14.61 close in the same syndication. The Street is arguing with itself into the print: a $16 cut and a $20 initiation inside four days
Truist (Fri Oct 23, same roundup)V / MA / PYPL / AFRM / FISVVisa target raised to $443 from $406 (Buy), Mastercard target $674, PayPal $58, Affirm $88, Fiserv cut to $51 from $53 (Hold) (Stocktwits roundup, Oct 26, of the Oct 23 Truist notes). Directly relevant to the open desk watch on V, which reports Tuesday after the close
Morgan Stanley (Fri Oct 23)CRWVTarget cut to $70 from $99, Equal Weight, on financing uncertainty and visibility to deploying contracted capacity to 8 GW (TheFly and TipRanks, Oct 23). The same note raised Western Digital to $668 from $643 and Spotify to $700 from $640
Susquehanna; Goldman Sachs (Tue Oct 20, dated correctly)COPSusquehanna raised its target to $175 from $161 (Positive); Goldman raised to $157 from $146 (Buy). Both actions are dated Oct 20 in the underlying reports; a version of the Susquehanna headline recirculated on Oct 23 and is not a new action, and this page does not date it as one
BMO Capital (Wed Oct 21)LNGBuy, $306 target (via Markets Insider, Oct 23 roundup). The most recent dated action on today's #1 setup; consensus target $310.65, Moderate Buy (MarketBeat, Oct 23 data)
Cantor Fitzgerald (Tue Oct 20)MUOverweight maintained, $2,000 target (via this morning's research roundup, Oct 21 reports). The most recent dated action on today's #4 setup; it is a pre-slide target on a name now $109 under its 20-day average, and the gap is the context, not an endorsement

No named, dated Oct 23 to 26 analyst actions were verified for LNG, MU, PANW or CRWD in this desk's sources, and none are invented here: the CRWD target-band chatter circulating Friday (roughly $265 to $320, tied to its Nvidia deal) carries no firm or date per hike in the source that printed it, so it stays out of the table. PANW's recent actions are older (Wells Fargo $525 on Oct 12, Citi $440 on Oct 15) and are context for the watch list, not weekend news.

Watch, Don't Chase

NAMEWHY IT IS ONLY A WATCH
PANW $380.55The swing desk's lead watch: +7.22% Friday in the security melt-up, RSI back to 52.3, still under its 20-day average ($384.25). The desk watches for the retest structure CRWD printed first; a second up day at the open is a chase, not a setup
NET / ZSThe rest of the swing desk's security watch pair, both up about 7.3% Friday (Finnhub closes via this morning's research). Neither is in the scanner's cash-equity cache this morning, so no desk levels are printed for them rather than borrowed ones
LLY $1,273.46Thursday's breakout retest filled and stopped on Friday (low $1,257.62 against the $1,268 stop), and Lilly reports Thu Oct 29. A stopped setup into its own print is a watch for the post-print shelf, not a re-entry
MSFT / GOOGL / AMZNThe week's prints, Wed and Thu after the close, with the FOMC in front of two of them. MSFT is also the scanner's #7 signal today, two days before its print: the overlap is flagged there and here, and neither ledger pretends earnings risk away
XOM / CVXBoth report Fri Oct 30. CVX closed Friday at $233.21, above the $233 second target that completed its Oct 15 desk win; XOM closed at $183.21, up 2.79% (Finnhub). The desk's energy exposure this week is COP's printed setup, not a second chase into the prints
KO $92.71An open desk position, not a fresh watch: triggered Friday, closed $0.81 above its $91.90 stop, and Coca-Cola reports Tuesday before the open. The tightest risk on the board, carried in the Scoreboard
CRWV $54.24Fresh low Friday, CDS at 1,138 bp, and Morgan Stanley cut its target to $70 the same day. Credit still leads this stock, and credit made another low. A watch until the bonds vote otherwise
BB $8.92Up 3.84% Friday (Finnhub), recovering part of Thursday's 8.71% fall. A price fact worth watching into its Dec 17 print; no catalyst verified in this desk's sources, and no story invented

AAPL, PLTRMon Nov 2, after closeAAPL confirmed by Apple IR. Two open AAPL desk positions (Oct 15 and Oct 23 sheets) and the open KO position's week all run into this calendar; the desk flagged the AAPL print a week early in the Saturday Ledger on purpose, and the flag stands

The Scoreboard

Friday's bars resolved the Oct 23 sheet, and the Saturday Ledger already booked it in full; today prints the state, not a second counting. LLY resolved as a loss: the breakout retest filled on Friday's dip and stopped the same day (low $1,257.62 against the $1,268 stop, close $1,273.46). CCI resolved as a no-fill: Friday's low was $85.00, never near the $79.50 to $81.50 retest zone, while the close at $85.97 sat above the $83.26 first target: the thesis ran, the printed entry never traded, and the ledger books a no-fill, not a win. KO stays open, tightly: triggered Friday, low $92.64, close $92.71, with the stop at $91.90 and its earnings print Tuesday morning. AAPL (Oct 23 sheet) stays open: triggered Friday, close $347.73, stop $338, first target $360.

The older desk ledger, carried at Friday's closes. AAPL (Oct 15): open, close $347.73 (low $345.75, above its $337.50 stop), first target $355 now $7.27 away after Friday's intraday record at $351.73. CVX (Oct 15): complete, both targets taken, the second at $233 on Friday's $233.21 close. MU (Oct 21): open, Friday's low of $858.34 held above the $840 stop, close $877.55. CNQ (Oct 20): open at the Saturday Ledger's last verified close of $55.06 (the name is outside the scanner cache and no newer verified close reached this desk this morning, so the Ledger's print is carried, labeled as such), first target $58, stop $49.40. CSX and LMT (Oct 22): still no-fills (Friday lows $50.22 and $580.00, both far above their retest zones). SPOT (Oct 22): triggered and unfilled at printed levels, carried as a watch. NOC and V (Oct 21): no-fills expiring Wed Oct 28. V and MCK (Oct 20): no-fills through Friday, and today is their fifth session: both expire at Monday's close unfilled unless they dip into their zones, which neither has approached. Desk tally from the Saturday Ledger, unchanged by Friday beyond the items above: 8 resolved booked through the week (3 wins, 3 losses, 2 no-fills) plus Friday's LLY loss and CCI no-fill, 5 positions open, the rest unfilled and watching or expiring.

The scanner ledger had no new resolutions on Friday's bars. The tracker re-ran this morning over all six sheets: 83 signals emitted, 30 resolved, 53 open. Every resolution so far is a momentum pullback: 6 wins, 24 losses, win rate 20.0%, expectancy -0.461R. Friday's new sheet adds 15 to the open count, and the breakout-heavy sheets from the Oct 21 and Oct 22 closes are the next resolutions in line: whether breakouts resolve better than pullbacks did is this week's first real data point, and it has not landed yet. The learner folded nothing new today, because there was nothing new to fold: the pullback factor stays at 0.485 and the pattern stays flagged for human review. Small samples, printed anyway: that is the point of a public ledger.

Pattern Weather. The menu is the regime read. Thursday's sheet was 80% breakouts, printed on a day breadth thrust upward under a falling index; Friday's sheet is 80% pullbacks, printed on a day decliners beat advancers two and a half to one. The scanner is not confused; it is describing a tape that cannot hold a leadership change for two sessions in a row. In that tape the desk's edge is not prediction, it is placement: retest zones under breakouts, stops under shelves, and position sizes that assume the FOMC and earnings stack, not the quiet Monday, sets the week's range.

Two old ledgers, printed side by side, never blended. The legacy product page tracked 663 patterns (651 resolved) at a 61.9% win rate and +0.08R expectancy under its per-setup yardstick (audit Oct 2). The complete signal export received since (Oct 17) covers 3,494 signals, of which 1,903 are closed: win rate 52.3%, expectancy +0.106% per signal, profit factor 1.07, average hold 2.9 days, under the archive evaluator's rules. The export is the fuller record and supersedes the page figures for the old system. This page keeps one ledger, in public, from Oct 15 forward.
