The Verdict

Tuesday broadened Monday's bounce and kept its secrets: the S&P 500 rose 0.60% to 7,722.60 and the Nasdaq Composite 1.18% as semiconductors climbed about 3% for a second day, advancers led decliners 465 to 435 in this desk's universe, and four of the eleven AI bellwethers now sit above their 50-day lines, double Monday's count. The AI Cycle Risk Meter eased one point to 59, still Red, because the same day that repaired Seoul also produced the largest structured AI financing yet, a $63B Broadcom and Anthropic vehicle that took the credit component to 88, the highest reading on this page. Today is the week's hinge and it is not close: the FOMC decides at 2:00 PM ET with a hold at 3.75% to 4.00% nearly unanimous in the polls, and Microsoft and Alphabet report after the close. The desk's stance into a dated double event: reduced size, pullback entries only, and no gap chasing, because every level on this page was set to be reached by a retest or not at all.

Desk Scenarios

The hold is boring and the prints bless the spend (the broadening case). The statement and the Warsh press conference add no hawkish surprise, Microsoft and Alphabet hold or raise their capex guides, and two days of chip-led broadening become a base: SPY holds above its reclaimed 50-day, retest zones fill on orderly dips, and Thursday's Amazon print lands on a tape that has already de-risked.

The presser is the event (the rates case). Futures already disagree with themselves this morning (the S&P contract printed +0.24% at 04:55 ET and -0.11% at 08:28 ET), the 10-year is back above 5% in pre-market quotes, and the statement is priced for a hold, so the risk sits in the language: a hawkish lean on the 2027 dot path reprices the long end first, and the desk's pullback zones, not its opinions, are what meet that tape.

Financing becomes the story (the credit case). The meter's credit component at 88 is the warning, and Tuesday added its newest example: a $63B special purpose vehicle buying Broadcom accelerators to lease to Anthropic, with Broadcom itself carrying residual value support equal to the $43.5B first-lien portion, two days after Meta upsized its equity raise to $97.5B. If tonight's guides bless the spending, credit eases; if one guide wobbles, the financing structure, not demand, is what gets repriced first.

Today's data undercard is deliberately thin, and the desk prints the gaps rather than filling them: no S&P Case-Shiller or JOLTS release is scheduled today (both were flagged as possible in one calendar in this morning's research and are not on the confirmed rosters), and the EIA survey consensus was not verified by press time. The week's weight sits behind today: Thursday brings Q3 GDP (consensus +2.2% annualized, Reuters poll), September PCE and personal income and spending, and Amazon, Eli Lilly and Cheniere before and after the bell; Friday closes with the Employment Cost Index (+0.9% expected) and the Exxon and Chevron prints. About 177 S&P 500 companies report this week (LSEG via Reuters).

Earnings today: the morning belongs to Boeing and Xylem, both already printed and both punished (Boeing missed and took a 777X charge; Xylem cut its guide), with Caterpillar, ADP, Veralto and Regeneron also before the open. The close belongs to Microsoft and Alphabet: consensus for both is in Major News and Earnings Minefield.

Major News

Two chip days, and the tape finally broadened a little. The S&P 500 rose 0.60% to 7,722.60, the Nasdaq Composite rose 1.18% to 26,477.81, the Dow rose 0.28% to 52,439.69 and the Russell 2000 rose 0.31% to 2,795.02 on Tuesday, with the VIX down 6.41% to 17.22 (Cboe) and semiconductors up about 3% for a second straight session (Reuters, Market Briefer and dated closing wraps, Oct 27). The internals improved without transforming: advancers led decliners 465 to 435 in this desk's 902-name universe (desk-computed), four of the eleven AI bellwethers closed above their 50-day lines against two on Monday (AI Trade Dashboard tape, Oct 27), and Seoul reversed hard, the KOSPI up 3.09% to 5,638.34 with foreigners net buyers of 591 billion won (Yonhap, Oct 27). Wednesday morning gave some of it back in Asia: the Nikkei fell 1.60% to 62,256.23 and the KOSPI eased 0.29% to 5,621.79, while the Hang Seng rose 0.69% (dated finals, Oct 28).

The financing stack set another record on the same day. Bank of America, Citi and Morgan Stanley are arranging about $43.5B of first-lien financing and Blackstone the second-lien portion of a $63B special purpose vehicle that will buy Broadcom accelerators and networking gear and lease them to Anthropic, with Broadcom providing residual value support equivalent to the first-lien portion and deliveries expected from 2027 (Reuters, Oct 27, via the AI Trade Dashboard). Reporting on the syndication said lenders considered walking away over risk and rising rates before Broadcom agreed to higher rates and loss guarantees (WSJ via TradingView, Oct 27). Meta, meanwhile, upsized its raise from up to $95B to $97.5B after the Class A tranche was reported fivefold oversubscribed, with Nvidia investing $3B and AMD $1B (Motley Fool and Morningstar, Oct 27). The dashboard's read is printed in Credit Watch: the structure is the risk, and the equity window being wide open is the offset, and both facts are true at once.

SK hynix printed the memory supercycle, and Micron is this morning's read-through. SK hynix posted record Q3 revenue of 35.79 trillion won, up 51% year on year, operating profit of 17.12 trillion won, up 84%, and a net margin of 36%, announcing the 2027 HBM supply round complete, capex to rise in 2027, a shareholder return review by year end, and an American depositary receipt listing planned for next year (company disclosures via PR Newswire and Reuters, Oct 28). The name trades at about 9.1 times forward earnings against Micron at about 15.3 times (Futunn, Oct 27). Micron traded at $1,024.81 in premarket at 08:43 ET, up 10.4% from Tuesday's $928.76 close (Finnhub, Oct 28), and the desk's treatment of that gap is the whole of today's #3 setup: the 20-day and 50-day cluster at $972 to $980 is the hurdle, and the entry is a pullback, not the gap.

GE Vernova and Vertiv turned the power buildout into prints. GE Vernova beat on Tuesday: revenue of $12.64B against $12.40B expected and adjusted EPS of $4.81 against $4.65, with the electrification segment up 35.5% on operating margin of 22.1%, a $6.3B buyback authorization, and a Tesla Megapack supply agreement reported alongside the print, against a cut to the power segment's organic growth guide tied to onshore wind (company 8-K via StockTitan and Futu News, Oct 27; Zacks). Vertiv followed this morning with the complex's cleanest beat: adjusted EPS of $1.89 against $1.42 expected, revenue of $5.02B against $4.55B, orders up about 155% year on year with a book-to-bill of about 2.1 times, and full-year guidance raised on every line (company release, Oct 28, via the swing report and PR Newswire summaries). Vertiv traded up about 16% in premarket (Kiplinger, Oct 28), into its own 50-day average near $244: a blowout at resistance is a watch, not a chase, and it is carried that way below.

The morning's two warnings came from the old economy. Boeing reported revenue of $25.36B, a beat, but an adjusted loss of $5.96 per share against a $4.04 loss expected, free cash flow still negative at $112M, and an earnings drag from a 777X certification charge tied to a program now expected in early 2028 (company release via Aerospace Global News and the swing sheet, Oct 27 to 28); the shares fell 10.69% in Tuesday's regular session on the setup and the follow-through is this morning's story. Xylem fell 14.21% Tuesday, the worst print in this desk's universe, after cutting full-year revenue guidance to about $9.63B on an Evoqua charge (Zacks, TipRanks and MarketBeat, Oct 27). Neither name is a desk position; both are printed because a week priced for AI perfection is also a week in which industrial misses are being charged full price.

Oil firmed back over $100 and stayed there. WTI settled Tuesday at $100.24, up 0.78%, and traded at $102.72 at 08:28 ET Wednesday (CNBC), with Brent at $111.29 against a Tuesday settle of $108.86; the dated prints behind the move carry the same Tehran-talks backdrop as Monday's fade, and futures prints differ across feeds and timestamps, so the desk ranges rather than blends. The 10-year Treasury closed Tuesday at 4.99% on the official par curve (2-year 4.67%) and quotes about 5.02% this morning (CNBC); the dollar index closed Tuesday at 101.55 (Invesco), with a TradingView aggregator printing 102.44 for the same session, a conflict flagged here rather than resolved by averaging. OPEC+ meets Sunday, Nov 1.

The honest summary is a rally getting taller without getting wider: semiconductors did the lifting for a second day, and 52-week highs in the universe fell from 28 to 23 on an up day. Full-market new-high and new-low counts and the put/call ratio for Tuesday had no dated verifiable source this morning and are omitted rather than estimated; Monday's Nasdaq count (349 new lows against 82 new highs, per the dated wraps) is the last verified print in that series.

AI Cycle Risk Meter
AI Cycle Risk Meter: 59 of 100, Red, as of the Oct 28 AI Trade Dashboard (8:40 AM ET), down 1 from 60, so no flip: the move is under 3 and the regime is unchanged. Inside the meter: Frontier 65 (from 64, as Anthropic IPO pricing talk firmed to $1.4T to $1.5T against the new $63B of commitments), Infrastructure 32 (from 34, as H100 rents kept rising and chips rallied), Hyperscaler 61 (from 62, no guide moved ahead of tonight), Credit 88 (from 86, the record SPV), Foreign 62 (from 72, on Seoul's one-day foreign-buying reversal). One trigger changed status: foreign equity-flow momentum deterioration eased from Yes to Watch. Breadth inside the basket doubled without healing: 4 of 11 bellwethers sit above their 50-day lines (MSFT, AMD, TSM, PLTR), SPY reclaimed its 50-day and QQQ did not. The grade arrives today: the FOMC at 2:00 PM ET, then Microsoft and Alphabet after the close.

The Record

Desk ledger: Tuesday was the busiest ledger day of the run. Four setups filled (UPS through its first target, SOFI at its conditional open, COP and V into their pullback zones) and one stopped: KO closed at $91.18 after a $90.81 low, through its $91.90 stop, booked as a loss. CDNS and COHR ran through or to their targets without filling, missing their zones by $1.18 and $0.75. CNQ pulled back to $54.07 without taking its $58.00 first target. Nine desk positions stay open. Scanner ledger: eight new resolutions on Tuesday's bars: QCOM won +2.75R, MCHP +1.87R and TEL +1.51R against a GAP loss, and the Oct 22 breakout sheet produced the pattern's first live resolutions, all four losses. The ledger stands at 41 resolved of 115 emitted (11 wins, 30 losses), 74 open including today's 23.

Sector Rotation

Sector SPDR five-day returns
Five days to Tuesday's close (desk-computed from yfinance SPDR closes): technology (+2.55%) and communication (+1.87%) lead the week after two chip days, and energy (-5.35%) trails it, the mirror image of last week's chart. Tuesday's day column is the rotation in one session: technology +1.55% while energy fell 3.97% on the refiner complex.
MONEY LEAVINGEnergy on the week (5 days -5.35%, day -3.97%, refiners down 7% to 9% as a group) · staples on the week (-0.24%) · communication on the month (-5.01%), the only sector still negative over a month

SPDR returns desk-computed from yfinance closes for the Oct 27 session (day against the Oct 26 close; 5-session and 21-session price returns from the same series, labeled as such). The rotation flipped its short windows in two sessions: the sector that led the month and last week's chart (energy) is now the week's laggard, and the sector that lagged the month (technology) leads the week. The month column is why the desk does not call it a regime change yet: energy still leads at +8.34% and communication still trails at -5.01%, and two chip days, however strong, have so far only repaired technology's month, not rewritten it.

Today's Setups

Four long setups from this morning's 8:00 AM swing report, ranked as the swing desk ranked them, and framed by the swing desk itself for reduced size and pullback entries into a dated double event (the FOMC at 2:00 PM ET and Microsoft and Alphabet after the close). The swing run record preserved the four setups with their closes and reference levels, and every entry zone, stop and target below is a desk level set off the Oct 27 close and labeled as such. Nothing here is presented as the swing sheet's own price. Yesterday's setups are carried in the Scoreboard: four filled, one stopped, two ran without us.

LNG Cheniere Energy
#1 BREAKOUT PULLBACK, POSITION ALREADY OPEN
Add zone $292.00 to $297.00   Stop $286.50   Targets $304.73 / $310.00 (desk levels)
Target $304.73
Stop $286.50
Last $299.74
Entry zone

The rare setup that is also yesterday's position. LNG closed Tuesday at $299.74, down 0.28% (Finnhub bar; the name sits outside the scanner cache: open $298.86, high $304.73, low $297.56), holding above the Oct 26 sheet's filled zone after touching its $300.89 first target for a second day. The swing desk re-ranks it first this morning as a breakout pullback: the 52-week high at $304.73 is the level the trade is now about, and the 50-day average at $279.68 is how far the structure has run. The desk treatment is continuity, not a second trade: the open position (zone $289.50 to $297.00, stop $286.50) is carried unchanged into Thursday's before-open print, consensus adjusted EPS of $1.49 on revenue of $4.83B (Zacks, Oct 28), and the only add this page prints is a pullback into the top of the original zone at $292.00 to $297.00, smaller, same stop. A close through $304.73 before the print changes the conversation; the print itself is tomorrow's first hour. Invalidation: close below $286.50

EMR Emerson Electric
#2 52-WEEK HIGH BREAKOUT, RETEST ENTRY
Entry $160.00 to $164.00   Stop $152.00   Targets $172.00 / $180.00 (desk levels)
Target $172.00
Stop $152.00
Last $166.27
Entry zone

The clean chart of the four. EMR rose 2.83% Tuesday to $166.27 (desk-computed; high $166.60, the 52-week high, low $161.91), closing at the top of its range above the 50-day average at $156.40, with RSI at 64.1, firm but not stretched, on 0.79 times average volume. The desk entry is the retest, not the breakout bar: $160.00 to $164.00 brackets Tuesday's low and the breakout shelf, the stop at $152.00 sits under the 10-day low of $154.52 with room for the shelf to be tested properly, and the targets are desk extensions at $172.00 and $180.00, because a stock at its highs has no printed resistance to borrow. One dated flag, printed in the swing sheet and repeated here: EMR reports Wed Nov 4, inside this trade's second week, with consensus adjusted EPS of $1.65 (Zacks) after last quarter's $1.71 was framed as an 11% beat in one calendar and an in-line print in another, a conflict this desk flags rather than resolves. Size for the calendar, not just the chart. Invalidation: close below $152.00

MU Micron Technology
#3 CONDITIONAL PULLBACK AND RECLAIM, REDUCED SIZE
Entry $880.00 to $907.00   Stop $845.00   Targets $972.37 / $1,016.05 (desk levels)
Target $972.37
Stop $845.00
Last $928.76
Entry zone

The conditional one, and the condition is this morning's gap. MU closed Tuesday at $928.76, up 2.77% (desk-computed; high $935.87), then traded at $1,024.81 in premarket at 08:43 ET, up 10.4% (Finnhub), on SK hynix's blowout (record revenue up 51%, operating profit up 84%, the 2027 HBM round sold out). The swing desk's map, printed in its own terms: the 20-day and 50-day cluster at $972 to $980 is the hurdle (desk-computed here at $972.37 and $979.71), and support runs $850 to $907. The desk entry honors that map: no chase of the gap, a pullback into $880.00 to $907.00, the top of the support shelf and Tuesday's own low ground, with the stop at $845.00 under the 10-day low of $849.25, the first target at the 20-day average the gap has to prove it can hold, and the second at $1,016.05, the Oct 21 sheet's second target. Two ledger overlaps, printed because the ledger is the point: the Oct 21 MU position (stop $840) is still open and working, and the Oct 26 sheet's MU zone ($860.00 to $878.00) never filled. This is a third, separate sheet at new levels, scored as its own line, and MU also reports inside the window (Nov 25, expected, per this morning's calendars). If the gap holds above $980 all day, this setup simply never triggers, which is the design working. Invalidation: close below $845.00

A beat with a bruise, sized like one. GEV rose 4.67% Tuesday to $895.08 (desk-computed; high $899.33) after printing revenue of $12.64B against $12.40B expected and adjusted EPS of $4.81 against $4.65, with electrification revenue up 35.5% at a 22.1% operating margin and orders nearly doubled (company 8-K via StockTitan and Futu News, Oct 27), and about $918 in premarket this morning (swing report). The bruise is in the same release: the power segment's organic growth guide was cut on onshore wind, and the stock still sits under every average that matters, the 50-day at $941.61, the 20-day at $942.73 and the 200-day at $941.20, a triple shelf of overhead supply between here and the first target. The desk entry is therefore the pullback into $840.00 to $875.00, Tuesday's low ground and the pre-print shelf, the stop at $800.00 under the 10-day low of $796.41 rounded for the test, and the targets at the 50-day shelf and the 10-day high of $997.66. RSI is 45.1: this is a base-building trade in a name the complex keeps re-rating, not a momentum trade, and it is ranked fourth because the chart, not the print, is the argument. Invalidation: close below $800.00

Today's Signals: The Scanner's Seventh Sheet

From the Tuesday, October 27 close: the scanner qualified 23 signals across its 900-name liquid universe, the richest menu of the run, and the mix flipped: 8 breakouts from range and 15 momentum pullbacks, with the ranked top 10 below carrying 8 breakouts and 2 pullbacks. The cap is 10 and the sheet earned all 10 slots; the 13 below the cut, all pullbacks, are named here and tracked in the same ledger: NDSN, GHC, WRB, DVA, FFIV, CSCO, IEX, AME, MSFT, CAH, ZBRA, KO and CRM. Three honest flags. First, the breakout turn arrives one day after the pattern's first live resolutions all failed: the Oct 22 breakout sheet (TSCO, WSO, SFM, ADBE) stopped out four for four on Tuesday's bars, and the learner cut the breakout factor from 0.717 to 0.660 on that evidence; today's sheet is breakout-heavy anyway, because the ranking follows the archive prior plus live evidence, not this desk's mood, and the reader gets both facts. Second, UPS (#4) is the same ticker the desk filled yesterday as a post-earnings setup: two ledgers, two level sets, scored separately, exactly as published. Third, TEL (#5) won as a pullback on Tuesday (+1.51R, day 1, from Monday's sheet) and reappears today as a breakout at higher prices: the scanner follows the tape, and the ledger will judge the second act on its own levels.

Method, in the open: pattern factors start as the archive win rates (momentum pullback 55.6% from 1,185 resolved signals; breakout from range 71.7% from 46; gap up and hold 62.4% from 101; cup and handle 56.1% from 41), held as Bayesian priors capped at 120 pseudo-signals. Each signal resolves win, loss or expired against its own printed stop and target within 10 sessions, first touch, stop checked first within a day; expired counts as no win. Tuesday's bars folded eight resolutions: three pullback wins (QCOM +2.75R from Friday's sheet, MCHP +1.87R and TEL +1.51R on day 1 from Monday's sheet) against a GAP pullback loss, taking the pullback's live record to 11 wins in 37 resolutions (29.7%, expectancy -0.167R, improved from -0.342R) and its factor from 0.488 to 0.495, still flagged for human review under the standing rule (posterior below 50% on 20 or more live resolutions). The breakout pattern's first live chapter is four losses in four resolutions (-1.0R each, expectancy -1.0R) and its factor fell to 0.660: the archive's 71.7% was earned on 46 signals, and the live ledger is now the larger sample's rival, not its footnote. Running ledger: 115 emitted, 41 resolved, 74 open.

Analyst Actions

FIRM (DATED)TICKERACTION
Goldman Sachs (Tue Oct 27)SOFITarget raised to $19 from $17, Neutral (TheFly and analyst roundups, Oct 27 to 28), the first post-print raise in hand. The desk's open SOFI position (filled Tuesday at its conditional open, zone $15.50 to $16.25, stop $14.30) carries targets at $18.00 and $20.00: the raise lands between them
BTIG (post-print window)SOFIRaised to an implied $24 in the Oct 27 to 28 roundups (TheFly via TipRanks feed). Printed with its sourcing labeled, because the feed summary is thinner than this desk prefers: direction verified, detail carried as reported
UBS; Citi (pre-print, dated)MSFTUBS raised to $635 on Azure checks; Citi raised to $625 on an OpenAI and Azure read (analyst roundups, Oct 27 to 28). Both land hours before tonight's print, which will grade them
Cantor Fitzgerald (Tue Oct 27)GOOGLTarget cut to $351 from $389, the one contrary action in the batch, into a stock at RSI 34.0 below its 200-day: the Street is arguing about Alphabet into its own print, and tonight settles this round
UBS (Mon Oct 26)AMZNTarget raised to $348 from $318, Buy (carried from yesterday's issue), two days ahead of Thursday's print; no newer dated Amazon action was verified this morning
Baird; Needham (Tue Oct 27)CDNSPost-print raises carried from yesterday's issue (Baird $440, Needham $430): Tuesday's session, in which the stock ran through its desk first target without filling the zone, is the market grading both

No dated Oct 27 to 28 analyst actions were verified in this desk's sources for LNG, EMR, MU, GEV or VRT, and none are invented here: LNG reports Thursday before the open, EMR on Nov 4, and the MU and GEV actions, if they come, will follow the SK hynix read-through and the GEV print rather than precede them. Actions whose dating could not be pinned to Oct 27 or 28 in the underlying reports are excluded from the table rather than carried on a feed's say-so.

Watch, Don't Chase

NAMEWHY IT IS ONLY A WATCH
VRT Vertiv, about +16% premarketThe complex's cleanest beat (adjusted EPS $1.89 vs $1.42, orders up about 155%, book-to-bill about 2.1x, guide raised on every line) gapping straight into its 50-day average near $244 from a $208.56 close that sat below every average on its row. A blowout at resistance is where chases go to be filled at the top: watch for the first regular-session shelf
RBRK Rubrik, $135.74Up 1.75% Tuesday (Finnhub) to $135.74, at its 52-week high area (intraday high $138.00) after about +20% in five sessions per the swing sheet: extended at highs with no pullback structure is a watch, and the swing desk's own framing says so
CRDO Credo Technology, $167.43Up 10.77% Tuesday (Finnhub), the connectivity complex's loudest session, and still below its 50-day per the swing sheet: a +10.8% day with no pullback shelf is exactly what this column exists for
WDC Western Digital, $380.88Up 6.95% Tuesday (desk-computed) into tonight's after-close print, still below its 50-day ($426.85) and 200-day ($416.40): an earnings binary under two shelves of supply is a watch until the print prices it
SNDK SanDisk, $1,304.84Up 3.92% Tuesday (desk-computed) on the memory complex's week, with RSI at 36.9 and the close still $180 under its 20-day average ($1,486.86): the SK hynix read-through lifts it, and its own chart has not confirmed anything yet. Reports Nov 5 (expected)
GOOGL / MSFTTonight's prints, hours after the FOMC, at opposite technical poles (MSFT above its 50-day at RSI 56.3; GOOGL below its 200-day at RSI 34.0). Neither is a trade before its number on this page
CLS Celestica, $276.54Tuesday's regular session confirmed Monday's extended-hours jump instead of fading it: up 12.12% to $276.54 (Finnhub; high $283.00). The beat was real (adjusted EPS $3.30 vs $2.99, FY guide $21B); a +12% regular session on top of a +16% extended-hours gap is still not an entry, and the first shelf has not formed
BB BlackBerry, $9.55Up 3.92% Tuesday (Finnhub), a third recovery session. A price fact worth watching into its Dec 17 print; no catalyst verified in this desk's sources, and no story invented

GOOGLToday, Wed Oct 28, after close, confirmedConsensus adjusted EPS of $2.94 on revenue of about $115.7B on the LSEG basis (Zacks prints $112.80B excluding traffic acquisition costs): two revenue bases, printed as such. Cloud and capex carry the print for a stock at RSI 34.0 under its 200-day

Robinson, TylerToday, after closeVisa is a live desk position as of Tuesday's fill (zone $396.00 to $403.00, stop $382.00) and reports into it tonight: the position's first session is an earnings session, which the ledger records as a fact, not an excuse. WDC is a watch (see above). Consensus for the group was not verified name by name this morning and is not printed
LNG, LLYThu Oct 29, before open (company-confirmed for LNG)LNG is an open desk position carried at a $299.74 close into its own print: consensus adjusted EPS of $1.49 on revenue of $4.83B (Zacks), with StockAnalysis printing $4.91B of revenue, the spread flagged. After a $300.89 first target was touched on two straight days, Thursday's first hour reprices the position either way
AMZNThu Oct 29, after closeConsensus EPS of $2.02 (Zacks) to $2.26 (StockAnalysis) on revenue of $213.60B (Zacks) to $216.40B (StockAnalysis): a genuine survey spread, printed as a range. The same day carries Q3 GDP (consensus +2.2% annualized, Reuters poll; StockAnalysis prints a $33.82T level, a different unit, not a conflict) and September PCE
XOM, CVXFri Oct 30, before openMonth-end Friday, with the Employment Cost Index (+0.9% expected) the same morning. The prints price the energy complex in a week when refiners fell 7% to 9% on a $100 crude tape: margins, not demand, are the question the complex has to answer
AAPLMon Nov 2, after closeConfirmed by Apple IR. Two open AAPL desk positions (Oct 15 and Oct 23 sheets) run into this print, carried at a $347.10 close, above both stops ($337.50 and $338.00), targets $355 and $360

The Scoreboard

Correction, printed the same morning. The first edition of this issue carried Tuesday bars for six names outside the scanner cache (SOFI, CNQ, CLS, BB, RBRK, CRDO) and LNG's intraday range from a supplemental feed snapshot that proved to be corrupted; the figures in this block and in the Watch and Ticker Trends blocks have been corrected against Finnhub regular-session prints cross-checked on MarketBeat. The material changes: CNQ's first target was not taken (it fell 1.89% to $54.07), SOFI closed at $16.40 rather than $15.84, CLS rose 12.12% in regular session rather than falling, and CRDO rose 10.77% rather than falling. No setup levels, fills, stops or tallies change: SOFI's open ($15.98) still filled its conditional zone, and every desk conclusion in the first edition stands on the corrected bars.

Tuesday's bars moved the desk ledger on eight lines, and the page books every one. UPS filled and ran: the Oct 27 sheet's $98.50 to $101.00 zone traded (low $99.61), the high at $106.59 ran through the $102.15 first target, and the close at $106.09, up 5.75%, holds above it: position open toward $110.00, stop $94.00. SOFI filled at its conditional open: the post-print open at $15.98 sat inside the $15.50 to $16.25 zone the condition required, the low held at $15.67, and the close at $16.40, up 13.42% (Finnhub bar; the name is outside the scanner cache), carried the position above its zone with the $14.30 stop far under the action: targets $18.00 and $20.00, and Goldman's post-print raise to $19 (Analyst Actions) lands between them. COP finally filled: Tuesday's low of $147.47 traded inside the Oct 26 sheet's $145.50 to $148.50 retest zone after two days of refusing it, and the close at $147.96 sits inside the zone: position open, stop $143.50, first target $152.77, RSI cooled from 77.3 to 67.4 in the fill. V filled on its last day: the Oct 21 sheet's $396.00 to $403.00 zone traded (low $397.36) one session before its Wed expiry, close $401.86 inside the zone: position open, stop $382.00, and its first session is tonight's Visa print. KO stopped out: Monday's 4-cent save did not repeat: Tuesday's low was $90.81 and the close $91.18, both through the $91.90 stop, and the position is booked as a loss and closed, the morning after its beat and raise: the desk prints that sequence without flinching, because a stop that only counts when it is convenient is not a stop. CDNS and COHR ran without us, again the CCI pattern: CDNS gapped over its $316.50 to $322.50 zone (low $323.68, a $1.18 miss), ran through its $344.13 first target intraday (high $348.80) and closed at $343.08, up 6.49%; COHR's low of $222.25 missed its $208.50 to $221.50 zone by $0.75 and its high of $236.91 stopped $0.62 under its $237.53 first target, close $235.79, up 6.45%. Both are booked as no-fill trajectories with windows still open, not as wins: the ledger pays fills, not forecasts. CNQ pulled back: the Oct 20 position fell 1.89% to $54.07 (Finnhub; outside the scanner cache; high $54.96), back to the top of its original $52.50 to $54.12 entry zone: the $58.00 first target was not taken, the position stays open toward it, stop $49.40. The carried book, at Tuesday's closes: LNG open at $299.74 into Thursday's print (see its setup card); AAPL (Oct 15 and Oct 23 sheets) open at $347.10, above both stops, print Mon Nov 2; MU (Oct 21) open at $928.76 toward $984.37, with two newer MU sheets unfilled behind it. Still unfilled and watching: CRWD (low $260.25 against a zone top of $250.00), the Oct 26 MU sheet, CSX (close $52.27, high $52.39, still $0.28 under its $52.67 first target without a fill), and LMT (close $622.99, its zone a memory at $544.66 to $551.51). NOC (Oct 21) expires at today's close unfilled unless a $23 drop trades its $518.00 to $528.00 zone, which is to say it expires: booked as an expired no-fill in tomorrow's ledger. Desk tally: 13 resolved booked (3 wins, 5 losses including KO, 5 no-fills), 9 positions open, the rest unfilled and watching.

The scanner ledger's strangest day: the pullbacks paid and the breakouts all failed. Eight resolutions on Tuesday's bars. The wins were all pullbacks: QCOM (Oct 23 sheet) won +2.75R, MCHP (Oct 26 sheet) won +1.87R on day 1 and TEL (Oct 26 sheet) won +1.51R on day 1, against a GAP pullback loss. The losses that matter are the other four: TSCO, WSO, SFM and ADBE, the Oct 22 breakout sheet, stopped out four for four at -1.0R each, the breakout pattern's first live resolutions in this ledger. The running ledger: 115 signals emitted, 41 resolved, 74 open; 11 wins, 30 losses. Pullbacks stand at 11 wins in 37 resolutions (29.7%, expectancy -0.167R, improved from -0.342R) with their factor at 0.495, still flagged. Breakouts stand at 0 for 4 (expectancy -1.0R) with their factor cut to 0.660. And today's sheet, ranked by those same factors, is eight breakouts in the top 10: the system prints what qualifies and lets the ledger argue, which is the entire design.

Pattern Weather. The menu is the regime read, and Tuesday's menu is the widest of the run: 23 qualifiers, breakouts finally outnumbering pullbacks in the ranked sheet, on a day the semiconductor index rose 2.93% and the universe still only split 465 to 435. Read together with the resolutions, the scanner is describing late-cycle momentum: strength is now printing new-high patterns in industrials and transports (PNR, LECO, UPS, TEL, BKR, NUE, JCI, GM) while the pattern that actually paid this week was the quiet pullback, and the first breakout cohort failed to the name. Into a 2:00 PM FOMC and two mega-cap prints, the desk's edge stays where it has been all week: placement over prediction, retest zones, and sizes that assume tonight, not this morning, sets the week's range.

Two old ledgers, printed side by side, never blended. The legacy product page tracked 663 patterns (651 resolved) at a 61.9% win rate and +0.08R expectancy under its per-setup yardstick (audit Oct 2). The complete signal export received since (Oct 17) covers 3,494 signals, of which 1,903 are closed: win rate 52.3%, expectancy +0.106% per signal, profit factor 1.07, average hold 2.9 days, under the archive evaluator's rules. The export is the fuller record and supersedes the page figures for the old system. This page keeps one ledger, in public, from Oct 15 forward.
